The DALLMER Hoofshoe with T-shaped inlay was the first in the line of hoofshoes for adhesive application and has been on sale for some years. With this patented shoe, Helmuth Dallmer succeeded in creating a reliable form of hoof protection without nails that is designed to cope with the adversities of all types of gait. A T-shaped steel inlay in the bearing surface of the shoe matches the shape of the wall of the hoof and provides the horseshoe with the stability it requires. When fitting the hoofshoe, the steel inlay is bent into shape along the contour of the white line and pressed into the bearing surface of the shoe with a pipe wrench so that the plastic wall fits snugly against the wall of the hoof. The shoe can be shortened at the quarters.
